Reverend Max Joseph Toliver Jr. was born January 30, 1991 in Houston, Texas to Max Toliver Sr. and Tonia D. Toliver. He was reared in the Acres Homes Community along with his five sisters and graduated from Eisenhower Senior High School in 2009. He met his beautiful wife Angelia Greenwood Toliver in 2010 at Sam Houston State University and married Angelia in 2012 while pursuing his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He's the father of three sons, Max Toliver III, Zechariah Toliver and Jayce Toliver.
He accepted his calling to the ministry and preached his first sermon on March 6, 2005 at the age of 14 at New Friendship Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
He was licensed as a Minister in 2007 at New Beginnings Holy Tabernacle and ordained under "Ark of God" Christian Fellowship in Houston, Texas in 2009. He served as Assistant Pastor of Kingdom Harvest Church of God In Christ in Willis, Texas from 2010 thru 2016.
In August 2016, God called him to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville Texas where he is the Proud Pastor. He not only works in the church, but also works as a Texas Peace Officer protecting and serving the community. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
In December 2017 he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.
He stands firmly on the following scripture:
Jeremiah 1: 4. “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying: “Before I formed thee in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
He has adopted these wise words from his mom in which she simply says, “Be Real And Not Right.”
